Our Story

The extragroup has been developing interior design software since 1993. Beginning with MiniCAD, the predecessor to Vectorworks, interiorcad today is the market-leading interior design software in European markets with partners in Australia and New Zealand. Following in the footsteps of Vectorworks development, interiorcad takes advantage of the strong 3D modelling capabilities of Vectorworks, driven by the powerful Parasolid of Siemens PLM. The extragroup is committed to delivering best in class 3D parametric cabinet and custom part objects with built-in costing and parts tracking, using Vectorworks' database and worksheet features. The extragroup is a Platinum Partner of Vectorworks, Inc.
